OxfordGigs Battle Of The Bands Cancelled

OxfordGigs have sadly been forced to cancel their battle of the bands competition, due to poor attendance during recent heats.
The whole event was set up to raise money for charity but unfortunately due to the low turnout is has actually been costing the organisers money and so they have taken the hard decision to cut it short.

Age Of Misrule would like to thank OxfordGigs for all the effort they put in, all the bands that have played and of course all of our supporters who turned up in great numbers and voted us through the first round!

Although there will be no further BoB gigs, Age Of Misrule have plenty of events in the calendar, so we hope to see you all very soon!!

4 months into the new year...

Hey there lovely ladies and handsome gents, Sparky here, thought I would post a little update since we've been pretty lazy at keeping you posted on the comings and goings of your favourite rockers.

This year started as it meant to go on, we've been gigging mercilessly every month all over the shire, travelling to Didcot, Bicester, Reading, and Goring to name a few stops on our tour and of course serenading the good people of Oxford as much as possible.

We've been playing electric, semi acoustic and completely unplugged and have a few video's up on youtube now from various different shows.
We said goodbye to our drummer Nige on pleasant terms and have now been joined by the most talented Mr Mallett (no, not Timmy) who stepped in short notice and helped us become the first semi-finalists of Oxfordgigs Battle Of The Bands. We are looking forward to more gigs, re-recording of tracks and also another photo shoot with the fabulous Sassy at http://www.assassynation.co.uk

We always love hearing from you so don't be shy, send us a message, public or private, and we'll get back to you.

See you all at a gig soon, and don't be afraid to say hey.

Sparky.

Website Updates

The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that some elements of the website were a shade out-of-date! Well work has been progressing nicely on some behind-the-scene updates on the gig and news sections.

The result of all this is that the AoM website is now the place to find all the latest news and gig dates of your favourite Oxford rockers!
Updates to the gallery and some other elements are planned for the next month, so best keep those eyes peeled!
